This section of the site is dedicated to the other members of the band (theaudience). Where are they now and what have they been doing? Well, I've
tried to summarise the limited information available on the internet with the help of littlefish. If anyone can supply additional facts or
corrections, I'd love to hear from you.
BILLY REEVES
Soon after splitting from theaudience, Billy released a CD on his own Wedding Reception label (read about it
here).
He then got signed to Sony Records with his new band Yours in 1999. His performing career was cut short by injuries sustained in a
near-fatal car accident in 2001.
He studied for a Post Graduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism at the University of Westminster, where he was
Student Rep. You can read an interview from this time (click here).
Currently, he is a travel presenter on BBC London 94.9. He's also been involved in Uncle Bob's Wedding Reception - the famous indie
club where Sophie gave Billy her demo tape - and he's behind a new80's-disco night club called Aftershow at Bullet Bar
in Kentish Town, which opened on May 26th, 2006. It also seems that Billy is connected somehow with the indie band Friends Of
The Bride.
Patch runs BandWAGON, a tour management, production and transport company for the music
industry located in UK. They have worked with several musicians over the years, such as Barbara Dickson, The Dears, Steeleye
Span and Maddy Prior.
Apart from this, most recently, Patch played on Kemberley Rew's (formely of Katrina and the Waves) latest album, Great Central
Revisited as a guest drummer (see here).
Kerin collaborated with Sophie on Trip The Light Fantastic, but unfortunately, their songs together didn't make into the album. It also
seems that he co-wrote Lose Yourself by Australian band called DT8 Project (see reference
here).
Currently, he calls himself Kez and he's working on the new indie band Friends Of The Bride, playing bass. You can
watch the band's videos on YouTube: So... You Think You Can Dance? and
Buckle Up, Sunshine. The band formed on Valentine's Day in 2006.
Dean is involved with SilentBob & The Samaritans, which have been
around for the past 10 years. According to their MySpace's page, The Samaritans have a massive 339 songs to their credit! Since
the demise of theaudience, Dean has spent the last nine years quietly building up his repertoire of songs that have been demoed on his trusty Mac in
various bedrooms in London and Sweden. At present, most of the demos for publishers feature Dean playing all the instruments. This page
also says that "he intends to form a band with friends and musicians he has met along the way". So we better keep an eye on him ;)
Nigel Butler has been working on PMFf with his wife Angie Dial. You might recognise PMFf from the Dean
& Nyge letter. According to the iSound site, PMFf was formed in 1996 by
Nigel and Angie featuring some guest artists.
You might remember Angie from theaudience's album: she produced, with Nyge, Bells For David
Keenan. Nyge and Angie have been living in Spain.
